Clubs
K-Kids is a leadership group of philanthropic students helping their school, community and world. The club is open to grades 4-6. Students meet each Wednesday from 12:45 to 1:24 p.m.
Civics Club students are a group of students learning about Native American, California, and United States government and procedures. Using their knowledge of government they find a problem in society and follow the governmental procedures to implement change. Students who complete all three sections of the FUSD district requirements will receive special recognition from FUSD of a certificate & seal at 6th grade graduation. Civics Club work and recognition continues through high school.
Battle of the Books
This is for 4th-6th grade, from November through April/May. Students read a set of books then compete against other schools. Mrs. Paulus and Mrs Kennedy will run this!

- Chess meets on Wednesdays from 3:05 - 4:15 - beginners, intermediate players, and tournament players. Here's a link to CVSCA for the tournament schedule. Chess is run by Mrs. Paulus!
Photography Club
Our Photography Club will start meeting in September and will gather multiple times for the rest of the year. We will be focusing on photo taking, editing, slideshows, newsletters, and movies for the school and classroom. The schedule will be discussed and posted on Teams for all students who are involved. There will be deadlines and assignments to complete for those active in the club. Mrs. Silva will be running Photography this year from Rm. 20.
